Cruel - St.Vincent

So, I don’t think I’ve posted a song in over a month… mainly because I lost all the music on my hard drive. I JUST got my MacBook Pro a couple months ago, and my HD decided to be a fucking douche and die out on me. I hadn’t gotten a chance to backup all my music after transferring it from my old MacBook.. Shit luck, but I guess I can only blame myself.

Luckily, a week before this happened, I gave my girlfriend a bunch of my music so I was able to get some of that back. 

So here we are. I found St.Vincent when I was looking through the artists signed with the record label 4AD (Bon Iver, The Big Pink, Blonde Redhead, The National, and some other dope artists). At first, I was kind of turned off because of how.. different it was. I was expecting something more.. toned down?. But her music grew on me, like most of the other artists of 4AD. If you haven’t heard of her, definitely give it a listen and I hope it grows on you like it did with me.

I’ll try and get back into the groove of posting music again, especially as I try to rebuild my library.. If you wanna help me out, throw me some good beats to check out too ahah
